From Prince George, British Columbia to Dawson Creek, British Columbia!
We spent the day driving to Dawson Creek. It was a beautiful drive. At every turn, the views change and get better and better. It’s crazy, but it’s a little overwhelming. At literally every turn, its “this is so beautiful”. So beautiful, in fact, sometimes we forget to take pictures!
We spent two days in Dawson Creek. I have no idea if this is the same Dawson Creek from the TV show. I know my kids watched it, but I never did.
Dawson Creek’s claim to fame is that it is Mile 0 of the Alaskan Highway. We feel like such travelers, as it was just two years ago that we were at Mile 0 of US Highway 1. In Key West, Florida. I will say that it certainly is warmer there!
The picture below is across the street from the “sign”…
Next to the campground, there is something called the Walter Wright Pioneer Village. It is pretty cool, lots of history and photo ops. The Fantasy RV crew hosted breakfast (biscuits and gravy) in one of the newer buildings. Breakfast was good, the weather was a little cold and rainy, so we didn’t do a lot of sightseeing.
