From the Everyday Cheapskate
Take it from someone who HATES to clean, this is the best cleaner to use when you let cleaning the bathtub or shower a little (or a lot) too long. I spray it on after I shower in the morning and use a magic eraser whenever I get around to finishing the job. It may be later that same day, or the next day, during my next shower. Amazing!
If you are making 16 ounces (two cups, one pint)
- 1/2 cup of Dawn dishwashing liquid (the blue kind)
- 1-1/2 cups white vinegar
If you are making 32 ounces (4 cups, two pints, 1 quart)
- 1 cup of Dawn dishwashing liquid (the blue kind)
- 3 cups white vinegar
Put both ingredients in an appropriately sized spray bottle and shake gently.
Make sure you have good ventilation, the vinegar can smell and sting. Spray surfaces liberally, let it sit at least 30 minutes before wiping.
Vinegar is an acid. Use your own good sense and test in an inconspicuous area if you are unsure if its safe for your surfaces.
