Probably WAY too much information than you want or need to know, but here goes…

My name is Marti and this is my blog. I am retired from a career that ended up in IT. I have way too much time on my hands, lots of hobbies that I talk about much more than I actually do. Some of these interests may or may not ever appear here.

I’m married, live in Arizona and we travel in the summer in our 5th wheel trailer.

The most important thing to know about me is that I like to make things. All kinds of things. Sure, there are a lot of reasons to make things. Better quality, save the planet (water, plastic, animal of the day, whatever your deal is), even to save money. But I make things because I like to make things. Are there other advantages to making things? Of course. But for me, it’s mostly because I like to make things.

The Blog

This blog has had many iterations over the years and has no real purpose except to memorialize my thoughts on various and sundry things. When someone needs the recipe to Grandma’s Red Apples or my version of DIY Dawn Power Wash, I can send them here.

This is obviously a work in progress. I will continue to update the blog and post new content as it holds my interest. That may be days, weeks, months or years.
